The Pleasant Grove Volunteer Fire Department honored 4 members at the End of Year Awards Banquet on January 14. The Mike Askew Maintenance Master Award went to Mark Mahan for his dedication to working on various apparatus and station projects. Arthur Duke was awarded the Great Strides Award for his continued improvement in the fire service. Chief Scott Mischnick presented Alasdair Duke the Chief’s Award for his positive and helpful attitude. Don Mischnick was awarded Firefighter of the Year for his dedication in serving the PGVFD and citizens of our community.
Thank you to these and all of the other firefighters of our department for all your work in 2024. We are looking forward to an even better year in 2025.
